Walnut Street Cafe
On Friday June 30th, The Walnut Street Cafe officially opened. It's located in the FMC tower in Cira Centre South (2929 Walnut Street). Patrons can enjoy breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch and dinner. Breakfast will feature things like sweet and savory baked goods and fresh breads from Weller and an all ready grab-and-go which features a variety of scones, croissants and cinnamon cardamom rolls. If you want more, you can experience a delicious full service breakfast and weekend brunch from Chef Eddy in the dining area. Weekday lunch will feature seasonal soups, sandwiches and more. And for dinner, you can choose to enjoy a raw bar, salad, sharable plates and pasta dishes. If you're someone who enjoys a more heavier dinner, you can also try dishes that feature a half or whole chicken, a mouthwatering porterhouse for two or even a veal rack.
If you want to enjoy a drink, Walnut Street Cafe has a cocktail menu and wine program that offers 120 bottles. All bottles on the wine list will be available by the half bottle. Over 50 selections of by the glass options will rotate on a frequent basis as well. For the non-drinkers, coffee will be provided by Jonathan Adams and Damien Pileggi of Rival Bros Coffee. This features a selection of custom house roasted blends from carefully sourced singles-origin beans. Lastly, Walnut Street Cafe is collaborating on a cold juice program with local chef Trevor Budney of Gorilla Nutrition.
